Sean Current and John Wilcox.
We have been licensed realtors in San Diego County since 2002. We first started working in the metro villages of North Park, Hillcrest, Kensington, University Heights and Mission Hills. We still work in those areas and maintain many past client relationships from our first years as realtors. In 2005, we moved our lives to North San Diego County, working in the coastal communities of Del Mar, Encinitas, Leucadia and La Jolla, and have worked also inland in communities such as Rancho Santa Fe, Poway, Rancho Bernardo and beyond.
We truly hope you will contact us to talk with you about your next real estate transaction, whether that be selling your current home, or buying the next one…or your first one!
Sean moved to San Diego in 1995 from Cape Cod, like many, seeking warmer winters. He got his real estate license in 2002 and began working in the metro area villages of North Park, Kensington and Hillcrest, before relocating to North County in 2005.
During his time as a realtor, he has focused much of his attention on working with buyers: “I really enjoy the challenge of working with buyers to find the right home to fit their needs. It’s like a puzzle, and it requires that I listen very closely to my clients’ comments and to learn to read them closely to find exactly the right fit.”
Having a previous work experience in corporate policies and procedures, Sean is very comfortable and familiar with the requisite documentation and procedures for real estate transactions, and works hand-in-hand with brokerage transaction coordination to ensure the escrow progresses smoothly.
A San Diego native, John grew up in Del Mar and has enjoyed living and working in San Diego’s finest communities since returning from New York in 2001. He has also worked and served as an assistant manager in Rancho Santa Fe.
Having lived in New York and Hong Kong with a background in marketing public relations, John brings a broader perspective and approach to every transaction: “Wherever you are in the world, everybody would like to have a nice home and a sense of family and community. It is truly a pleasure to help our clients achieve those things in what happens to be one of the finest places on earth.”
John has also served on the board of the Del Mar Village Association as well as the Del Mar Historical Committee. When he’s not selling real estate you can probably find him on the tennis court, or in his garden in Rancho Santa Fe.
